THE AESTHETICAL EXPEDITION
into the bundle of joy [articide #1 e #2]
Da série Pirate Mind Station From the series Pirate Mind Station, 2011

do real (a.k.a. ficção). Eu recebi a informação,
eu reconstruí a realidade. Esta comunicação >
passagem pode, então, ser entendida como alibi
da prática artística. Deste modo, a realidade
impõe-se como exercício de transgressão e/ou
como imperativo eminente de transfiguração do
mundo real para o virtual.

This work comes from the intention of
promoting an experience of immersion in a
fictional and imagined universe, from the
exploration of the limits of individual memory.
Each person builds their memory and in
memory nothing is real. That is, reality is a
construction rooted in the cognitive processes
of those who experience it.
Memory as an interpretive result of this
experience and as adulterated duplication of
the real (aka fiction). I received the
information, I rebuilt the reality. This
communication > passage can then be
understood as an alibi of artistic practice. Thus,
reality imposes itself as an exercise of
transgression and/ or as a transfiguration
eminent imperative coming from the real world
toward the virtual.
